Another disappointing wine from this producer. Time to learn from experience, and stay away from any further purchases. Nose is thin, volatile and dirty. Old sour oak mixed , dirty soil with artificial strawberry lemonade and vinegar. No depth or finesse at all. Some acidity present that perhaps tells it apart from a US or NZ Shiraz, but overall missing all one should expect in a bottle of Corton. Taste exactly like a new world “wanna be Bourgogne” Pinot, with thin, diluted fruit and no way near its Grand Cru status. A pity and a complete waste of great terroir.

Still elegant, but unfortunately slightly passed its peak. Not much fruit left to balance the acidity. Should have pulled the cork a few years ago.

Boring, lack of interesting factor and not a good wine either. Avoid.

Very good, elegant while somewhat light.
