OK, as a true sceptic of Burgundy, I'm going to give this one the benefit of the doubt. When I popped the cork and decanted, my first impression was; another French wine that would be lucky to deserve 1/2 the hype it gets. Remember this a 2007, so it should be ready. The aromas pouring into the decanter were minimal. So, I prepared some veggies for roasting some yard bird before I tasted, and again the question is "why bother" With some air, this one is almost becoming drinkable. Still thin and weak at best, at worst undrinkable. Pretty light color. The predominant aroma on the nose is alcohol, with some brown sugar, were not even going there. With some imagination, we get some dark cherry. Looking for redeeming qualities, the finish is smooth as silk, the tannins are completely civilized. The alcohol is very integrated. And, it was only $12.99. In case you wondered, I'm not a believer, and I try many Pinot's per week.

OK "functional" pinot noir showing just a hint that it might develop something more complex and interesting though never really did for me. Is it worth paying extra for the name on the label? If you're looking for a smooth, drinkable but ultimately unchallenging, conservative pinot noir that's not going to ask many questions or raise any eyebrows then maybe. If you're looking for something more intriguing or discover something a bit special look elsewhere

Not feeling this one. Way too tart, no fruit or anything interesting at all. Had without food - big mistake. Two Buck Chuck is better. Seriously.
