Ruby red, nose is super fresh sweet strawberries, griotte cherries, turned earth, spice, smoke and peonies. Still primary, impressive for a village level to still be going this strong.

Wasn’t super impressed with this. Had a lot more heft than I expected and felt a bit advanced. Tomato leaf with a bit of ocean air/salinity. Not much nuance. Maybe needs a lot more time, but based on prior CT notes, that doesn’t seem to be the case. I bought 2 of these at auction and, though this didn’t taste completely cooked, I think there may have been some storage issues.

Wow, this was spectacular. A tremendous chambolle with a touch of MSD character. Earthy notes, mineral with dark raspberry and cherry. Perfect balance. Elegant and fresh. Give me more!

Used to compare wine glasses (Zalto Burgundy the best). A bit balsamic in the nose, smooth but with underlying tannin on the palate (other glasses emphasized the tannin and made the wine less elegant); medium weight, good density, some elegance. Needs 5-6+ years to maturity
