(Clemens Busch Riesling Vom Roten Schiefer) This was a brilliant wine in 2005 and 2006. The 2007 is the best yet. Very fruity and ripe nose that leads to a palate that just cuts a deep swath across your throat and soaks the pure fruit in there. Lovely purity and length. Very concentrated and ripe. Great stuff. More RS than the previous wines.

Auslese level but not too sweet. Some boytritis. Red Slate. Medium golden color. Extremely concentrated. Appealiong spice characteristics. Lots of lemon/line flavors. All of Clemens Busch wines are extremely unique.
