Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 93 points

  • Opened 40 minutes prior to drinking and stood upright for 24 hours to allow the sediment to settle. Vibrant ruby colour and plenty of intensity in the bouquet. In the mouth there was the taste of old leather with a hint of background cassis. Oak is there but restrained, and lots of acidity to ensure longevity for a few years to come. This is drinking wonderfully now (if you like aged wines) and I can't see it fading for quite some time to come. Excellent example of its type.
