At the end of an impressively long drinking window and, whilst on the downward slide, wonderfully settled and mature. Old world in character with old mineral notes, old wood and some iodine / blood. Nose is a touch pongy but reflective of the age. Soft chocolate too. I'm not sure 5ths and CB Bordeaux would look much better at 20 years?
