It again showed with its sweet red currant, violets, green stems and flowers. Amazing transperency despite lacking intensity. Drinking great at peak. For this particular vintage, it outclasses the CDLR with its purity. 93-94

PNP at Akikos holiday dinner. No detailed notes, but from memory this had a lovely sandalwood, spice and clove nose, very stemmy and lithe in a good way. The palate was maybe a little austere and clenched, but showed lithe silky fruit and very typical for the vintage. Excellent.

Opened an hour before dinner, could have used more time. Beautiful airy nose, showing strawberry, sandalwood and cinnamon. Prominent spicy stems. Delicate palate, silky with lightly extracted cherry fruit, some clenched tannins that soften with time. Absolutely delicious.

The 07 Dujac CSD blossomed into a full garden of sweet red currant, strawberry, sweet spice, and perfume. On the palate, it unleashed alluring yet subtle sweetness. It had built more weight and complexity with air in the glass. Dujac’s 2007 is romantic, and it is one of my favorites. 94+

Burgundy Dinner with a Bordeaux Producer (RPM Steak - Chicago IL): Red berry and cherry throughout with good weight and faint spice. On the faintly sweet spice, this is nicely balanced, even if not the most complex or nuanced vintage of this wine.
