Visibly some ageing has happened. Smell is somewhat closed at start, but decanting helped. Fresh and still some potential for even more integration, second bottel will remain in cellar for still some time. I would say somewhere between French and US in style. Needed some food to really come out at its best.

needs some air, deep liquorish and trail mix nose, pretty tight overall, feminine, silky, black cherry and star anise, some butter on the long finish, not bad with roast beef, drinking well with decanting

This one was drinking very well now. Well balanced and with a nice mix of maturity and still elegant fruit.

Cool red fruits needs to be served at 55 to 60 degrees. Minimal tannins, sour cherries, mild tobacco, hints of leather.
