Clean, lively, aromatic bouquet of citrus fruits. Metallic and mineral attack, green apple and lime on the mid-palate, whispers of nuts on the finish, medium length. A dry Chablis with good presence and expression of its terroir, not bad at all.

(Domaine Bernard Defaix Chablis Cote De Lechet) #6; (tasted blind); VaynerPAZZZ; COLOR-pale yellow; NOSE-sea shells, very ocean; very fresh & vibrant; a little fig and grapefruit play; PALATE-extremely light; it's borderline lemon water; would like think this was a Pinot Grigio or Sauv Blanc; some grapefruit and flinty pebbles; perhaps a Chablis, but at best this is an awful Chablis; this is BAD; that's all I got; AM-90/92; GV-74

Very basic chardonnay with typical flavors of green apple and some honey, but acidity was razor sharp. Went well with broiled salmon.
