Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • In the glass this was a lovely plum color with vibrant blueish-purple hues at the edge of the glass showing NO signs of the age. On the nose there was a soft vanilla tone with a hint of warm brown sugar on the oven followed by a hint of oak, earth, and lilacs . In the mouth the wine was light-medium bodied with sublties that can not be put to words with nice acidity and tannin integration and a dry finish I can not help but wonder how long this wine could truely last...it is so nice...yet really shows little signs of aging. Such an excellent experience with a truely exceptional wine that explains why Bartlett Estate is THE wine made in Maine.
