Opened and slow ox'd for a few hours while I was preparing dinner and baking some cheese cakes for the weekend. Dark fruit on the nose. The palate is dark berries, currants, tobacco and mocha. The finish is moderate to long. As I said 6 months ago when I drank a bottle - this wine is probably in its prime drinking window but there is no rush to drink them Its definitely got a few good years ahead of it.

Over four years since my last bottle. This wine has developed nicely. We decanted for two hours before dinner. Dark fruit on the nose. The palate was dark berries, current, tobacco and a hint of mocha. The finish was moderate to long. Served with rotisserie roasted duck on a very rainy New Jersey night. I have one bottle left and I think I will hold it for a year. The wine is probably at its peak but I do not see any hurry to drink them up.

Slightly improved over last tasting. Nose of red and black fruit with a hint of spicy oak. Palate dominated by red fruits with a hint of blackberry along with some nice spice from the oak. Finish was nicely balanced and not at all hot. Probably at peak, drink over the next year or so.

Was like my previous comment. Not a big a brooding fruit forward cab. Not getting better with age in my opinion.

Floral nose, masculine in the mouth with good structure and a hint of mocha developing after awhile.
