  • It’s almost 2018, so I wanted to try another bottle. D+0h: no deposit in the filter and a tiny, tiny, tiny bit in the bottle, smells of cherry and blackberry D+5,5h: purple red, smells of leather, smoke and in the background of cherry, medium body, in the mouth cherry and a little bit of leather, has a certain residual sugar, smooth in the mouth, in the aftertaste cherry and a little bit of acidity, good length (30 sec), good red, will decant it shorter (4 hours) the next time

  • D+0h: a tiny, tiny bit of deposit in the filter and the bottle, the cork comes out intact (the cork "says" that the bottling took place in February 2008), smells of gooseberry and raspberry D+ 3,5h: purple red, smells of blackberry, smoke (with a little leather as well) and eucalyptus, in the mouth blackberry and some smoke, dry, but not in a tart way, the tanins are still quite present, but the wine is already "drinkable", full body, in the aftertaste acidity and blackberry, good length (30 sec), really a great red wine, I guess it's not yet fully mature, I think it will take at least another three years to get fully mature, so I will wait until 2018 to pop my next bottle.

  • Needs alot of air. When first opened very ungiving with drying oak tannins. A day in the fridge transformed it to a beatiful mature wine with softened cherry fruit and beatiful aged aromas.
