This wine normally sells for about $32 but I found it on sale for $24. It is made from a selection of Sauvignon Blanc grapes from the Winkl vineyard and aged in stainless steel (50%) and tonneaux (50%). I much more serious, complex and voluminous wine. Still fresh after 6 years. A dry wine with just a touch of sweetness in the background. Note of spice, stones, green apple and rich white fruit. An excellent match with the potato cream soup that was served at the restaurant. 91-92 points.

This wine reminded me of a slightly less concentrated and intense version of a Didier Dagueneau Silex. Nice long finish and wonderful aromatics.
