A matter of taste 2024 (Kongresshalle, Zürich): *** Brief notes from wine fair, primarily for my own memory *** Glass: Stölzle Universal Certainly one of the best Quarz I have tasted so far. Beautiful fresh and dense nose with lots of Cassis and elder. On the palate dense, elegant, mineral and long with beautiful clear fruit and not too hot. 92+

Huge intensity on the nose with excellent balance between grapefruit, green apple, a touch of passionfruit, gooseberry and a piercing mineral note. Vibrant and elegant on the palate. Great persistance on the finish. Delicious. Drink now or hold.
WSET notes:
Pale lemon.
Pronounced on the nose with grapefruit, passionfruit, gooseberry, grass, green apple, white blossom, and wet stone. Youthful.
Pronounced and dry on the palate. High acidity, medium minus body, high alcohol, long finish.
Can drink now but has potential for aging.

More herbaceous and citrus expression, less ripe fruit. Producer is great overall. Enjoyed, but QPR was low for me.
