This bottle showed superbly; the nose was beautiful with ripe dark berry fruits, hints of spice, a bit of caramel/oak still there, forest floor coming in; the palate has good density and length; clearly grand cru level here; drinking really well, has another good 5+ years easily.

Richebourg & RSV (Mag's Wine Kitchen): Wow, the nose is showing very differently from the previous two wines (Potel & Poisot RSV). Intoxicating aromas of violet, spices, mint, sweet blueberry, blackcurrant, plum and autumn leaves. Excellent richness and underlying power on the palate with perfectly ripe sweet fruits, umami, inner perfume of autumn leaves. Long, but clipped a bit at the end. A very nice showing but only if the finish can offer better length. This does catch up more after longer aeration with better length and spicy aftertaste.

Medium ruby. Quite sexy and complex on the nose with blue fruits, orange peel, haw flakes, brown sugar, truffle and very floral. Very fine tannin, lovely balance between the medium acidity and almost lush sweet fruits without any hard edge. Follows by mineral and some bitter aftertaste, good depth and the class is there. Showing slightly more advanced than some other 2007 Grand Crus I have had. Guessed 2001 Richebourg.

Liked this more than others on the table. Found it pretty well integrated, some finesse. For a Richebourg pretty reasonably priced.

less elegant than the Thibaut L-B - almost over extracted and less fragrant. may need more time
