(Soos Creek Ciel du Cheval Vineyard Red Wine Red Mountain) Dark in color with purple towards the rim. The nose has alluring aromas of floral notes, black cherry, cranberry, light herbal notes, and baker’s chocolate. Gracefully structured on the palate with delicious red fruit flavors and well-integrated tannins. A beautiful expression of Ciel du Cheval. 73% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Cabernet Franc, 9% Merlot. 14.1% alcohol.

Very fruity. More of a young Napa cab and not as refined as expected. Still, an eminently drinkable bottle.

No formal notes but this is in a great place right now. Great fruit and character, paired well with Sunday lasagna.
