  • When opening the bottle some odd white sediment under the capsule. Cork looked like better quality than most recent wines I have opened. Very dense looking cork. Came out perfectly in perfect shape. price on the label with what looks like sale on top of price of 39.95. Original price 50.99.

On pouring no sediment, with a aged brick transparency, but a deep ruby in the glass. The aromas completely integrated but with excellent focus - Sous-bois, souk (turmeric, cumin), some coffee notes, raspberry, red cherry. Completely integrated with the aromas wafting from the glass in a camphor like way. Some hint of menthol as well. On taste expansive on the palate. Tannins completely resolved. Beautiful raspberry and cherry flavours with excellent length and balance. A really beautiful wine from 89. On taste it is fresh and young.
