Gunflint notes on the nose. On the palate, pronounced and dominant earthy gunflint notes, with background of red cherries, acidic but very balance. Long finish. Drinking beautifully now. Love it.

Burgundy Wine Learning Session (Hong Kong): A little rustic at first, with damp earth, mushrooms, barnyard aromas, and black fruits and a little tea on the nose. On the palate, weighty tannins, and nice acidity.
After a 30-minute decant, the nose remained somewhat subdued, but the palate had an impressive mixture of tannin and acidity hitting you all across the palate, perhaps this is what they call the peacock's tail.

Red with brownish hints, appears AS a mature wine in the glass
Nose is mainly red fruit of cherries, some spice with a touch of burned rubber. Aromas appear as mature as well
Quite full bodied and silky in the mouth, lacks a bit of structure though.
A pleasant bottle which has reached maturity, should be consumed over the next few years
