Black cherry throughout with some berry, this is exactly what makes 2010 so great -seamless and harmonious with just enough concentration. Sneaky good length.

Blind. Rich, spice and meat filled black cherry fruit aromas. Palate has excellent concentration and pin point balance. Young in every way and while integrated/approachable this is holding back. I liked this now, but believe it will be really great in 5-10 years.

Another Sunday service at Jade Court (Chicago, IL): A little on the rustic side of Burgundy for my palate; this has some coarseness from the tannins on the palate. At the same time, the fruit shows some of the typical red character of the vintage and also feels slightly sweet on the palate.

Double Blind Virtual tasting (Chicagoland IL): Double blind alongside the perplexing Charmes-Chambertin. Dense black cherry, berry and plum with meaty and licorice note and very good weight and depth. so good now with upside, so much like another bottle from a few weeks ago.

Gevrey City Tasting (Zoom / Chicago): Very Gevrey and very 2010. Pure black cherry, spice and emerging meatiness in the aromas. Palate is youthfully primary with layers of fruit, meat, spice and herbs. So fresh with dancing acidity. A complete wine in harmony already and upside from here.
