HDH auction tasting at Tru (Chicago, IL): This was really lean and thin initially, and not showing very much at all. With air, this got a lot more earth on the nose, and the palate definitely filled out. The palate shows a little bit thinner, but also filled out with more air. Red-fruited and light, with some classic Fourrier character; I just wish this reflected the riper vintage instead.
