Mid brick red. Slightly earthy aromas of bitter dark chocolate. Decently varietal. Structure is the primary character on the palate; a spine of acid, persistent but soft tannins. No green or stalky elements present, nor does it err towards jamminess. Well-balanced finish of medium length.
