  Can't remember the exact date purchased, but it has been in my cellar for a very long time. Therefore nervous about drinking it. had it with a vegetable risotto with red peppers and chorizo. Colour and initial taste of a very fine fino sherry. The madeirised taste diminished after 30 mins, leaving a brilliant wine expressing the apple and acidity of a mature sauvignon blanc and the nutty dryness of a semillon. It would probably be fine for another couple of years.
