This is quite simply horrid. No apparent faults, good colour. It smells of turps, with at one moment a fleeting glimpse of honey. it tastes as bad as it smells with had mature cheddar cheese rind. Yet another dreadful Huet.

Tasted during the Huet Degustation-Menu tasting at Traube Tonbach, in their 3 star restaurant "Schwarzwaldstube" Old yellow gold, bordering on amber Acacia honey, lots of smoke, strangely attractive... On the palate it comes across as severely astringent, bordering the bitter, a bit of acidity. Rather short finish. The wine came across completely differently on the nose and the palate. A strange disjunction.
