  Popped the last bottle on a "pinot" night with M&P. This one didn't make it, unfortunately. Not really vinegar, but devolved into off-flavors.

The funkiness blew off in 10-15 minutes, and it was a lovely wine. Fruit is faded of course, but still hints of berries and that early California Pinot style. Such a surprise. Worked well with the dinner. Can't really score it, but a delicious wine, very different from anything typical. At about an hour open the wine collapsed. Turned bitter and tired. Nice that it held out for our party to taste. I look forward to the other bottle!
