  Potential for disappointment, given 2 inches of ulage, this bottle was astonishing - great colour [light strawberry] with little fading, sweet Pinot fruit, and no where near showing its 44 years of age. Very dusty sediment, so filled the 4 glasses in one pour. Soft notes of straberries on the nose, very elegant - even the American wasimpressed... VERY impressed. SD also excited, wanting to proffer a 99 POINT score. Wonderful oild wine. Yum.
