  Last year I had 2005 vintage and it was fantastic and 2001( very good, but I complained why is not so good like 05...am I spoiled brat ?)
  Let's see how this vintage will be

  An hour in decanter. What can I say. Delicious, vibrant, vigorous, delicious wine!
  Red cherry here, red cherry there, cherry is everywhere! Fresh, juicy, sweet, succulent!
  Smell - red cherry of course, flowers, herbs, wet earth, red currant, raspberry , spice, smoke. Enough 🙂
  Taste - one more time: juicy, fresh red cherry.
  Also - raspberry and red currant, milk chocolate, vanilla ice cream. Perfect soft tannins and acidity.
  Pretty long finish with herbs, spice and of course you know what...red cherry.
  Lovely, milky texture.

  Floral nose, with lots of lavender, rose and fresh rain. Tastes like raspberry, cherry, blackberry, lavender, coffee, milk chocolate, and earth. Fantastic balance.

  My last bottle of the 2008. No more than an hour or so of air. Meaty, powerful and pretty delicious. A touch alcoholic would be the only drawback. Looking at my last bottle note, I felt it was nearing the end of it's drinking window but not so sure now...problem is I think you get more bottle variation with Rhone than a lot of other regions so sometimes it's hard to tell where you are with the wine.
