  • Wow. Top Bourgogne. Slightly brown in the rim. Beautiful bouquet. Black currant, black berries, strawberries, tobacco, chocolate, liqurice. And the wood beautifully integrated. Looong aftertaste...

  • Hey, it's the end of the year and so at bonus time I'm giving this wine an "exceeds expectations" rating for its performance last Saturday night (note purely from memory). This was far more substantial in the glass than I thought it would be, really quite rich with generous and complex flavors dispersing across the palate. Remarkably it seemed to captivate almost everyone who tasted it, from an 83 yr. old to a college professor to a restauranteur. There was class in the glass, but my distance from the actual tasting prevents me from saying anything concrete about the actual flavors etc.

  • big fuit nose. Very well balanced fruit and tannins. This wine was decanted fot 8 hour and was still a little youthful. Le this one sit for another 5 years before opening.
