  Some bottle funk after 17 yrs and cork slightly soft. Golden yellow to amber. Nose of astonishing freshness somewhat lean with a few white flowers. Honeyed notes follow fresh lemon and lime citrus and green apple. Then warm spice. A line of fresh acidity quite unexpected given age. Hint of petrol at end. Great length. Very enjoyable. Wish I had more, alas only bottle. Reckon it's got at least another 10 in it.

  Awesome. A 12 year old bottle of riesling, drank with sushi. Dark golden color, you could immediately tell this was a bottle with some age on it. Dry, stone fruit, nice apricot and peach with a little bit of petro, after 12 years this showed no signs of breaking down. I'm a huge fan of Josmeyer wines and this did not disappoint.
