Was given this bottle of Sigaut to make up for the previously-cooked batch I posted about last year. Thankfully this was a pristine bottle. Floral and red with high-toned but not shrill acidity. It’s more rustic and earthy on the palate rather than lifted and elegant (a la Chambolle), but still a good depth of Pinote and a pleasant surprise. 2008 seems to be doing well now.

Lovely, classic Chambolle. Nuanced, fragrant nose (muted roses and violets) followed by a delicately nuanced mid palate and some length—and some acidity—on the finish. Fine Burgundy.

Opened about 2 hours. Color is a bit thin - like a 2007 Oregon PN; although it fades beautifully to a colorless rim. Nose of bright cherries, strawberry, acid, anise, granite and soil. Palate shows the same cherries, acid, granite and a bit of funk on the mid palate to make it interesting. Finish is quite long and lively with an interesting bite of black plum on the sides. Stands up nicely to a veal chop.

肯定已处于顶峰状态,轻柔的酸度和单宁,已发展出很多次级香味,很典型的CM村味道
