I think this wine is just beginning to peak. We had this with Beef Shish Kabob and it paired up nicely. I was amazed by the balance and finesse of this wine with loads of blackberry, black cherry and cassis. Very long on the finish. This tasted like a much more expensive wine. It just goes to show the power of time. Stored since purchase at 56 degrees.

Decanted 3 hours for Christmas dinner of baked chicken. Delightful nose of herbs and spice. A wonderful mix of red fruit and chocolate. Medium finish. I will hunt the world down for more at 29 dollars but my guess we enjoyed the last bottle of this great vintage.

Sweet creamy raspberries on the nose with hints of vanilla and lavender. Medium body, soft and round, raspberry, red currant, leather and bitter chocolate palate. Lacking a little on the mid palate, astringent tannins, pleasant but short finish. Not bad at all for a $30 Napa Cab, but I do remember having better bottles of this previously.

Ken and Kelly (Ann's Avondale PA): This was surprisingly good. I don't remember where I got it our how much I paid. On the nose there was nice black fruits, licorice, and eucyliptus. This was still fresh with acidity but the tannins were almost gone. Blackberries, a little chocolate and then a little bit of a spicy finish. Drinking pretty well right now. I wouldn't wait any longer if I had more.
