(K Vintners Viognier Columbia Valley) A bouquet of flowers along with peaches and mineral notes on an aromatic wine. Palate brings a lot of fruit and a pleasing tingle of acidity. Barrel fermented in neutral French Burgundy barrels. 14.1% alcohol.

Golden yellow in glass. Nose of candied apples. Very even palate of melon, apple and spice. Peach pit and spice finish. Reminds me of torrontes from argentina. Very pleasant wine.

Excellent, balanced Viognier. Classic nose that isn't over powering. Good acid, stone fruits, nice finish. A refreshing Viognier that is a pleasant change from over ripe flabby styles.

This has taken on a little more weight since my note on 4/22/2011. I had every intention of holding this longer, but couldn't keep my hands off it! Damn nice wine, and great QPR.
