This continues to evolve nicely, adding notes of spring flowers and honeysuckle that I don't recall from prior bottles. Balanced with notes of citrus, almond and brulee throughout. Round and nicely acidic, drinking very well.

100% Viognier from Art Den Hoed vineyards in lower Yakima Valley at 1300 ft. Two blocks planted in 2000 and 2006. Concrete tank/barrel fermentation. 6 month barrel aged on lees. 14.5% Abv. K Vintners is a brand of Charles Smith Wines.
A(ccuray)=2: Med straw/gold. Delicately aromatic varietal. B(alance)=2: Restrained components, soft acid structure. Bit hot. C(omplexity)=2: White peach, apricot, flowers, hint of honey and nuts. D(epth)=2: Focused and intense without being weighty.
Wine Tally Score [2,2,2,2] = 8/10
Warm long vintage nicely handled: exuberance with finesse!
Pale golden color. Aromas of Flores and tropical fruit. Tropical citrus with butterscotch and beeswax finishes w vanilla custard. Interesting white reminiscent of rhone viognier.
