Chicago Rotating Dinner Series - September 2013 (Burgundy) (Ada Street - Chicago, IL): A really impressive Chassagne. Beautiful, intoxicating aromas of flint, melon, florals, lemons, and salt - reminded me of a tidal pool. The palate was precise and chiseled out of stone with great depth to the citrus and flinty notes. A real treat, and another reminder that White Burgundy is boss.

Surprisingly rich and buttery but there's sufficient acidity to keep it in balance. Very solid mature white burg that drank well over the course of a few hours.
