Think this wine was at the end of its life. The dry mineral notes were so over powering it was hard to appreciate the wine. Drank with some salami and stinky cheese to improve the finish.

Very tight with a lot of tannin and acid but not rough or harsh. Cherry, granite and spice. The 2005 was more giving.
