  • Fleshy red cherry and berry aromas and flavors with baking spice, still nicely fresh. Very well made in a clearly ripe, New World manner with just enough brightening energy from middle-to-finish.

  • In a very fine spot, real class here. Plentiful primary fruit, creamy texture, good spice, hints of sous bois; still a young wine, but very balanced and already approchable.

  • A totally wonderful Pinot Noir with deep profound fruit and a stunning elegance - totally open for business. The nose reveals classy red currant, but also darker fruit and a lot west deciduous forest, wet saddle leather and dark fat rich earth. There is no doubt this nose is a school example of what a Pinot could be like. Together with the balanced and seamlessly integrated palate, this wine is a true gem. The palate also reveals a very pleasant acidity and length on the finish lasting about a minute or more. A totally brilliant wine - a must taste if given the chance.

  • Black raspberry and floral notes on the strongly aromatic nose. Opened two hours ahead of time and close to full bodied (for a pinot), with intense richness, great depth and wonderful density. Black raspberry upfront along with black cherry with nice spices and excellent acidity tying the wine together into the finish. This is certainly a big pinot, but it demonstrates an elegant, polished sense of power rather than just a fruit-forward sledgehammer. The wine has plenty of structure remaining and I suspect in future years, it will show even more mid-body complexity and more elegance as the various elements integrate.

  • Bigger, bolder. Everyone liked it. Still has a few years to develop further.
