5 years later. A really interesting and nuanced wine. Drank over two days. Day one, the flavors and nose were soft and muted initially but opened in the glass. Earlier TNs noting the similarities to Pinots & Barolos are very accurate. This wine just feels well crafted, particularly suited to age. Day two the flavors really showed up. Bright fruit, floral, some earth if you look hard.

Continues to improve with bottle age. Wonderful blend of Pinot Noir, Poulsard and Trousseau, with fragrance over fruitiness, lift over weight, clean finish over heavy tongue scraper. Very nice. Roses, cherries, raspberries, wet earth.

Last tasted 5 years ago, this bottle was much as I remembered it from before. Light weight, high toned, etherial red fruit with a touch of savory and mushroom this time. Drinking very nicely no need to rush. This wine was built for the long term.

Bright cherry and wet stone scents, light bodied and dry, bright and lively, mineral, cranberry and cherry pit, uplifted and earthy, not overly complex, mouth watering

I cannot place a number rating on this wine right now as my palate just isn't feeling it. Maybe because it's the summer but this wine is interesting but not delicious. On the nose barnyard, tomatoes, bell pepper, kale, and raw meat. The palate does show a hint of fruit but this wine is all about the veggies. In a blender, take a V8, throw in some fruit, a bit of soil, and a piece of meat....consume It does improve with food but right now my palate wants to have more "fun".
