Deep amber straw color with legs. Pineapple and honeyed citrus peel and a bit of honeysuckle with evidence botrytis, This bottle shows no oily/petrol character. Stored well and still holding together. Drink up, I think.

Very special vulcanic terroir in Thann. Orange color (due to aging) for this sweet style pinot Gris. Honey covered pineapple with spices. Sweet with subtle acidity. Alcohol fully Integrated. At end of it's peak now. Drink now. True grand cru ! Best wine of 2023 thusfar.

Poured golden yelllow. Smells of honeysuckle, caramel, sort of like a ice wine/cider. Tastes of pineapple, honey, and is much sweeter than expected, but acidity balances it out. Lots of crystals within the bottle. Very enjoyable and definitely worth the price.

Deep amber straw color with legs. Pineapple and citrus peel with evidence botrytis and and cloying hint of petrol in the end. Stored well, but I suspect one should drink in short order.

Very liquorish at the eye and smell. Drier at the taste.
