In very good shape. Strong gold in color. Served it blind to freinds and it was quickly identified as old reisling. Ripe exotyellow fruits and some petrol. A bit of oily sweetness. It is a very full throttle wine. I think that the style has changed at the winery and I prefer the more restrained new approach but this was very enjoyable.

Wow, what a stunning white wine that has really come around with age! Just a hint of oily sweetness but mostly dry with tons of aged lime and guava flavors to go along with the incredible notes of salty minerals and limestone rocks. Perfectly aged and very fine with a grippy finish that is endlessly complex with good intensity and great floral lift. Brilliant wine-making here!

Big nose of ripe pineapple and whiffs of diesel. Palate is thick and very textured. Overripe tropical fruit, some mineral, big long finish. Very pleasurable drinking. Have zero experience with Pinot Gris but this was just delicious. Served blind to a pair of CMS advanced candidates who concluded Austrian Riesling and Gruner Veltliner respectively.
