  Still hanging in there. Forest floor, medium to light bodied, more acidity than fruit but still some black cassis. slightly drying finish.

  For super bowl. Last guy clearly had a bad bottle. Mature but very firm. Rich mountain fruit without any overripeness. Very traditional style with veeder briariness to add complexity. This is the kind of napa cab that will inevitably come back into fashion. A perfect counterpoint to those that don't think you can achieve ripeness and ageworthiness below 13%. Will still keep and will look for more.

  Excellent, and still with legs. Peaking now, but not past its prime. Silky tannins, long fruit, mountain austerity come into its own, and a long finish. Beautiful.
