This wine is maturing beautifully and steadily improving. When it was young I was a bit disappointed in it for a grand cru, but the extra cellaring is paying off now. Very nice - and lots of body for a Chablis.

Stored at. 55-65ºF since release. Cork was intact without leaks after pulled. Aerated via a quick decant. Light straw colored. Baked lemon curd, apple, and a little grapefruit bite. Flinty smokey notes as well. It was at it's peak right after the cork was pulled and closed up a bit over the next 3 hours. Note to self, don't decant next bottle.

{Brought by LT to dinner with BW and JL as well; at Lenox Sophia; failed to write down any notes so from memory) Classy grand cru Chablis, minerals/fruit/length/saltiness all you might expect from a great producer like Moreau from Clos. Vibrant, full, long, fireworks aromatics. Yum.

Lighter than expected, given its age and grand cru status, but still lovely. Paired with salmon cooked with ginger, a nice match.
