Ditto other recent reviews. Aged yep or color. Rich nose of heavy vanilla, buttered almond and woody notes. Palate was flat and viscous, giving way to more vanilla oil, wet oak, basement floor, olive oil and nuts. Crazy to believe this is a chablis. Definitely past prime, but nine the less interesting.

Bummer, a clean and youthful tasting wine, but nowhere near the exotic minerally seashell and lemon lime with truffle you get in the "real" Dauvissat. A lovely chartreuse emerald hue, fresh on the nose, unctuous and oily on the palate -- almost more Northern Rhone like than Chablis. Does that mean higher yields? More ripe picked?

Med yellow - no oxidation to be seen or smelled. No "fruit" left, showing honey, straw. Elegant and balanced after nearly 10 years. It has been enjoyable following this case of Chablis for the past 6 years.

Med light yellow - looks youthful. Floral, fruit including lychee, and wet slate. Fruit, honey, anise and minerality with a lithe body. An excellent example.

light gold. Nose is flinty, integrated oak and floral. In the mouth it has flavours of white fruit and oysters. a sensation of sweet fruit with a firm structure. Really enjoyable.
