  Firehouse brick appearance. Deep and complex bouquet. Cherries and dried red fruit over earthy notes of cedar, graphite, and wet foliage. The palate is well sculpted and fully resolved, conveying lovely maturity, impeccable balance, impressive length, and a chiseled backbone. Closes with a hint of bitters on the finish. Classy, characterful, and structured. A rock star from a dreadful vintage.
