PnP. Wonderful deep and persistent dark fruits. Slightly unctuous mouthfeel but am drinking it at 12.5c so tastes fresh. it is well advanced in maturity but by no means declining. However I intend to drink my remaining bottles over the next 24 months

Decanted for a couple of hours. First bottle was corked so I pulled this one. Cherry, menthol and an airy floral element on the high-toned nose. Palate is on point, silky and satiny with a medium weight cherry and mushroom element that lingers on the finish. No signs of age, this is showing appropriate development at 13 years from vintage.

If I owned multiple bottles of this I'd be slightly concerned at how advanced it is, but as a consumer BTG, needing a wine to drink with roast chicken on an autumnal day, I'm extremely happy. Gentle, savoury, smoky, the sweet smell of dried flowers along with thyme and oregano, sufficiently bright with cherry-flavoured acidity: wonderfully, deliciously developed.

At L'Univerre, Bordeaux. Lovely ripe, red fruited nose, touch of gaminess, spice. Medium/full bodied, soft, round, ripe red fruit, spice. elegance here too with well balanced acidity and a good length harmonious finish. Excellent, drinking well.

Needs a lot more air than the hour it got. Super acidic/high toned and funky (Bretty). Give it lots of air.
