A twenty-seven year old NSG that is enchantingly in peak form, perhaps at the early end of that peak window. From the first sniff, the aromas are impressively fragrant — earthen black and red cherry with intense and well integrated musk, spice and dried florals. The fruit is still round, rich and supple in texture. I can imagine the NSG tannin and structure (especially in 1993) were hard and unforgiving for most of this wine’s first two decades. Now the structure is seamless and integrated providing a quiet frame for the abundant, concentrated and plush fruit. Youthful in texture, yet complex, layered and nuanced in flavor thanks to its age.

Very classic bottle of NSG, and the best Robert Chevillon bottle I've had so far. Dark plum, wild berries, dark roses, modest earthiness, and minerals, on the palate, it showed sense of rusticness yet balanced with gentle acidity and spices, good grip on the finish. It was deep with multiple layers of fruits, complex, and texture offered deep structure but also smooth/silky. Thank you BurgNick

Classic nsg with wild berries, iron, wet leave, earth and dates. With time in the glass, it gained sweetness and depeth. Good backbone. Still young but very nice backed by vibrant and growing acidity on the finish.

(Chevillon Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru "Les Bousselots") Nose of smoked duck, dark fruit, earth, underbrush, and almost like a gravy aroma along with dark flowers. Palate was just fantastic. Juicy and ripe with great palate coverage and sweet ripe tannins. Just drinking perfectly. Sexy and silky wine with tremendous fruit. A joy to drink and smell.

Excellent. Drinking perfectly. Can't remember much though it was a heck of a party. Everything Raf said.
