Red & White Burgs at St. Dinette; 4/3/2019-4/4/2019 (St. Dinettee, St. Paul): Medium dark red color. PNP, drank a glass over 90 minutes. The nose offers an almost exotic perfume of blood meal, iron, blood orange, cherry, dried flowers and spices. The palate picks that right up, very fresh and layered, tart cherry dominates the fruit with the blood orange and citrus zest undertones highlighted by the iron infused minerality. This was in fine drinking shape and maybe at or near peak. Loved it. 93+pts.

Overwhelming impression for me is of ripeness. Though I didn't sense it, the label says 13.5% alc. Seemed rather new world-ish to me -- dark red fruit, not a lot of nuance.

Mature black cherry aromas with earthy and slightly rustic aromas. Perhaps less mature flavors, showing black cherry and berry with subtle spice and meaty, minerally textures. I like where this is performing now, but don't see upside from here.

Quite young showing; full bodied, creamy, delicious in a very pinot-like way. Hints of both strawberry and sous bois, but the fruit is certainly up front, and there is hurry here. Very charming, almost seductive wine.

Ripe red pinot fruit on the nose, cherry and raspberry, some brown spice, and a floral edge. This is remarkably youthful, layered, and ripe, with licorice, cherry, and raspberry flavors, a long finish, and plenty of charm. Big even for the vintage, by my estimate. This has a long life ahead of it, but is showing well (if large-scaled) now.
