Drinking well now with riper, darker fruit that reflects the vintage but plenty of structure to hold it together and freshness to keep the fruit bright enough.

Drinking very nicely with good, rich black cherry fruit that is nicely balanced and not jammy (as many 06s can be). Modest NSG rusticity add some complexity and charm. Good now with some upside as this gains more depth.

Loved this. It was good to go say 10 mins after PnP...
Nose is so perfumey - red fruits, roses, violets, some orange peel, mushrooms and herbs. There was a whiff of some funk but blew off quickly. As the evening developed, the nose just got better.
Nicely balanced with good vibrancy so there is enough tartness while possessing the earthier, more rustic notes. So while it is pretty and inviting, there is an underlying brooding mood to it. It is a NSG after all. So smooth and paired really well with the Argentinian and Kagoshima wagyu beef we were having as the acidity helped cut through the fat.
Nice treat for Mother's Day... It is the morning after now and i seem to have some faint notes of the wine in my mouth or is my brain playing tricks on me?
Really enjoyed this.

Riverside Wine & Spirits Burgundy Tasting: medium garnet, amber rim; some earth tones; medium+ acidity, medium+ tannins

Raspberry, fur, a touch stemmy. Not quite my favorite 06 or my favorite Chevillon, but certainly enjoyable.
