  • Fell a little different than my last one. Smoother, less explosive and more mature. I'm not sure it's the wine and it's not me since there's not a lot of time since my last bottle but this on was better.
Still not a WOW, but a good high end wine.

  • Prior bottle was 17 months ago and this wine continues to show quite well. Black cherry, along with more distinct plum on the nose as well as earth, spices and leather. Between medium and full bodied with the black cherry notes upfront continuing to show a good blend of expressive openness and brighter, contrasting qualities. Adds depth along with deeper black cherry and plum through the middle. Backside shows balanced tannins and a pleasant burst of tart black cherry and acidity, providing contrast to the depth of mid-body blackfruit. As with my prior bottle, the mid-body has really opened up well and is nicely integrated with the backside. I don't see it gaining further complexity and it's already at peak for integration, but it should be able to maintain this level for another few years. I'll plan to open my last bottle in Q1 2025.

  • This is a powerfull wine. Need an hour to be at his best.
It’s less balanced than I tought. It feel like it’s a blast on each side without the refinement to blend everything smoothly. There’s a fruit peak, than a wood peak, than tannins blast, than plums rush, than leathers, etc…. A lot of everything.

Not exactly what I tought it would be, but still a really good wine. Still 2 bottles left, will see how they are

  • PnP. Vesentlig bedre enn forrige flaske for 3 år siden.

  • Prior bottle was 18 months ago and this wine continues to improve. Black cherry, a touch of plum as well as earth, spices and leather on the very pretty nose. Between medium and full bodied with black cherry upfront that shows good roundness and depth with a nice touch of brightness for contrast. Mid-body has really opened up well, compared to my initial bottles, showing very good fruit definition (all mixed blackfruit, but especially black cherry and plum) combined with depth that leaves the wine feeling practically silky. Tart red and black cherry behind along with tannins, spices and acidity. These structural notes still provide excellent backbone and contrast, but the tannins are much more in balance with the fruit, the acidity provides contrast without being overwhelming and also contributes length while the spices are in-line with the fruit and also contribute to the finish. This wine is showing quite impressively at present, but in a fashion it should eb able to maintain and perhaps even continue to show positive evolution going forward. Next bottle for me will be Summer 2023.
