Flight 3 (1 Note)

  • NV El Maestro Sierra Pedro Ximénez PX Viejísimo 96 Points

    Spain, Andalucía, Jerez-Xérès-Sherry

second best PX ever for me... i liked it much more than others - although it doesnt seem as thick (probably due to its low alc) it trully impressed me. this wine probably has more sugar than honey - if left of the side of the glass it doesnt run almoust at all...

the nose was full of figs, dates and hay... tons of orange, dry fruits, dates in the mouth... YUMMM went so well with dessert - especiialy with the bitter chocolate...finish is endless...

Closing

the Santa Teresa 1796 Ron Antiguo de Solera is just amazing... its like drinking cotton candy (with 40% alc!!!) totally changes one's perpectives on hard stuff..vanilla and coconut notes from the oak mixing with the caramel/flowery notes...YUM!

thanks again for a LOVELY, PERFECT Spring day!
