Cabby nose, Bordeaux-y. Oak, very slight bitterness, rich, decent structure. Lighter body, spicy, more interesting. Slightly lean. Red fruit. Long.

Simple nose, generic red fruit. Fairly ripe and juicy, but simple and cheap-tasting.
Elegant. Creamy oak. Medium structure, perfect for the guts.
