  • 2007 Schild Estate Shiraz 91 Points

Nice wine overall with blackberries, blueberries, spice and eucalyptus. Medium finish and not the over the top style of too many producers in this price range.

  • 2004 Oliverhill Winery Shiraz Jimmy Section 93 Points

Australia, South Australia, Fleurieu, McLaren Vale

The groups wine of the night and my second favorite with pepper, blackberries, soy sauce and blueberries. Medium finish and balanced. Drinking really well right now and 04 showing what a great vintage it really is.

  • 2002 Mitolo Shiraz G.A.M. 93 Points

Australia, South Australia, Fleurieu, McLaren Vale

Decanted 4 hours and needed the most treatment of the 4 Mitolo's. Blackberries, licorice, soy, minerals and earth. Medium finish and heavy on the earth elements. I would hold these another 5 years.

  • 2003 Mitolo Shiraz G.A.M. 92 Points

Australia, South Australia, Fleurieu, McLaren Vale

Not as good as the over the top ratings that were given to this wine. Licorice, cherry, floral and spice. Medium finish and a little heat which blew off quickly. Decanted one hour.
